Disrupting the Fashion segment in India
Disrupting the fashion system is a topic of hot debate in fashion. True disruptive innovation must seek to question the fundamental aspects of social and economic inequality and explore how artisanal craft, the mainstay of luxury fashion, can engender disruptive responses to fast fashion and social inequality. We are glad that we are not only working for the well-being of our company, but also we’re working for the society.
After a year in which the fashion industry posted record-low economic profits, in the pandemic era, business leaders like me are on the front foot, seeking to innovate while continuing to engage their core constituencies. Given the disruptions of recent months, many companies are reconnecting with their supply chains, making tough decisions. Even though the pandemic has hit most of the businesses, our business has been recognized by the customers digitally, and people are buying our products and have made Classic Polo to be one of the top 100 franchises of the year. Just like the silver linings among the clouds, while the crisis had affected our business, we have managed to cope up with it since the quality and the products which we provide are liked by most of the men in India. We hope to grow more in the upcoming years and be the world’s no. 1 textile brand. We are continuing to be more innovative and creative as this fashion industry demands it to reach the top.
